Earthquake and Eruption at Sea.

Victoria, August 30.— The Victoria sealing schooner Alfred Adatna has just arrived. Her Captain reports that he reached Behring sea on July 2nd And left there on the 7th August. After leaving Nagi the Teesel encountered a submarine volcanic eruption and vras literally showered with Mhes. The terrible circumstances raised no little excitement, especially among the Siwashes, who became unusually excited and fell on their knees, saying "God is angry with us." The phenomenon only lasted about an hour, when the atmosphere commenced to clear again.
