INQUESTS AT T E AROHA.
On Saturday last an inquest was held in the Te Aroha Court House, upon the body of Mrs Emily Rawlings who fell down dead near her house at Te Aroha in the forenoon of the previous day, as reported in last issue. Mr Wright, J.P.. (Wellington), acted for the Coroner, with the following jury : Messrs F. Pavitt (foreman), A. Downes, J. F. Cocks, F. Nott, J. Don. and C. Ahier. Messrs Dare, Dobson, and Mrs Moody gave evidence as to the finding of deceased and the efforts made •to restore life ; whilst Dr Erson, of Onehunga, deposed to his being summoned to see deceased, whom he stated was dead prior to his ararrival on the scene ; and as a result of his owh observation and enquiries made he was of opinion that death was the result of natural causes, most probably aneurism of a, blood vessel near the heart ; everything pointing to death by heart disease. The verdict of the Jury was that deceased died from natural causes, most probably rupture o£ tho heart. Deceased was buried in Te Aroha Cemetery on Sunday afternoon..
