Business in the Legislative Council.

In the Legislative Council yesterday, the report of the Committee on the Cathedral* site (Parnell) was. made an order for next day. The Government Loans to Local Bodies Bill was read a second time. The Council went into Committee on the Counties' Bill, and progress was reported. Mr Reeves gave notice to move on Thursday that the report of the Rabbit Pest Committee be not agreed, to, so far as it relates to the recommendation of the Government to undertake the introduction into the , colony of the natural enemies of rabbits
