(Before H. Kenmck, Esq., R.M.,) Tuesday, July* 20, 1886. JBiigham and Harris v. Joshua Cuff : Claim £13 8s 4d, balance of an account. Robt. Harris, sworn : Am one of the plaintiffs in thia case. Am suing defendant on two orders, which have been presented through the Bank of New Zealand and were dishonored. Judgment for amount, with costs. Same v. Fred Gordon : Claim 16s 6d, balance of an account anJ for interest. No appearance of defendant. Robt. Harris, sworn, pvoved the debt. His Worship ruled that the 2s charged for interest must be struck out. Interest could not be charged on a mining account unless some arrangement had been made to that; effect. Judgment for 14s 6d, and costs. Robt. Mackie v. H. H. Dix : Claim a£l 19s 4d, balance of an account for milk supplied. No appoarance of dofend ant. E. Mackie, sworn, proved the debt. Judgment for amount, with costs. " W. Dibsell v. Gouldie : Claim 19s lid for goods supplied. No appearance of defendant, who had however admitted the debt, and offered to pay by instalments of 10s a month. Plaintiff expressed his willingness to ! accept these terms, and judgment was | entered up accordingly, with costs. I P. T. Jausen v. Gouldie : Claim £1, balance due on a cow sold defendant. No appearance of defendant, who, however, admitted the debt, and had offered to pay in monthly instalments of 10s. Plaintiff said ho was willing to accept the offer. Judgment was entered aceoixlmgly, with costs. D. J. Frazor v. Canadian G.M. .Co : I Claim £19 12s 6d, for goods supplied. No appearance' cf defendants. This caso was adjourned till next Court day, in order that plaintiff might obtain a certificate of the incorporation j of the company, without which the case could not proceed. , John Squirrel,! v. Home : Claim £5 for goods supplied. 'Defendant was in attendance and con•t'essed owing tho amount, and offered to . pay by instalments of £l*per month. !
