The Alleged Murderers chased them, and the Tuiru.'i inn back to Tiyphena. Or\ Sunday morning the Tan ua ;tgain started, and biouoht the news, heie'to Soigcant Tiiere seems to have been no reason whatever for this most horrible oullage, as Mr. Taylor was one of the mo.st iexpectable men on the island, lie was a native of Bolton, in Lancashire, and several or his iclatives occupy leading positions in that town. There has not been a vessel in Tryphena for the last- eight yeais which w ill not bear testimony to the kindness and hospitality of the Taylor family. Another telegiam from Coromandel says that Taylor was, 70 years of age. Caflery shot at him four times and missed him, when Perm caught himjby the throat and CaHery hhot him through the head. It is feared that the accused men will escape to the Islands.
