Midland Eailv/ay guarantors held to-day, Mr : Bowen read ft letter from Mr Allan Scott, reporting the conclusion of the London.delegates' business, The company >is 'considered the strongest that has been formed for,a long time. The engineers of the company in London are Mr John Carruthers, late resident engineer-in-chief to the New Zealand Government, and Mr Robert Wilson. The chief resident engineer in New Zealand Mr C. Napier Bell. ■
