The following important notices appear in the Government Gazette, for M*y 13th :— He Codntt Rolls. The time Tor preparing Comity rolls lias been extended by His Excellency the Governor as nnder : 1. For preparing the rolls for ridings within each county in the colony under section 42 of "The Counlie's Act, 1876." 'Until the Ist June, 1886. 2. Time for which such rolls shall be open for inspection under section 46 of the said Act. From the 4th June, 1886, until the Ist July, 1886. 8. Time for appeals against the said rolls under section 47 of the said Act. Until the 15th July, 1886. 4. "Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reFerence to the said rolls, and adjourn, under section 48 of the said Act. Until the sth August, | 1886. 5. Time when (he said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall como into force. On the 16th August, 1886. i Tk Aroha Railway Bridge. Under the Public Works Act, 1882, the Hon the Minister for Public Works has issued the following bye-laws for regulating the traffic over the combined road and railway bridge at Te Aroha :•- (1). Persons requiring to take vessels throngh the water-way of the drawlridge must apply to the Stationmaster at Te Aroha. (2). The drawbridge shall not be opened within thirty minutes of the due' time oF arrival or departure of any train from Te Aroha j railway station. (3). No person or vehicle or any animal shall enter upon or travel over the bridge within ten minutes of the time that any train is due to cross the bridge, and (4). Any jierson offending against any of these bye taws will be subject to a penalty of LlO for each offence. Under "The Public Works Act, 1882," the Governor has ordered that the Waikato-Thanies Railway, (having an average width of three hundred links) shall be constructed on or through all lands held or occupied by Native owners, as mentioned in the subjoined Shedule, viz. — Commencing at a point in Henry-* Alley's land at Hikutaia, as described in Proclamation dated 4th September, 1879, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction for a distance of 19 miles or thereabouts, passing in, through, or over the following lands, <fee: Henry Alley's land at Hikufcaia, A. McA skill's land at Hikutaia : Kaiganavra Block ; Native laud ; Te Jkomata North ; Te Komata South : Tawakarcwakauri ; land granted to J. Thorp : Hararahi No 1 ; Hararahi No 2 ; Opatito ; Te Aroro-o-Huatata No 2 ; Te Paeroa ; Te Arero-o-Hunfcata No 1 : Blocks Nos. 5858,5370 ; Muraoteahi, 5814, 1875, 5800, 4454 ; Koromatua Nos 1, 2, and 3 : Te Manukau j Te Waka-o-Tiki te Aroha ; Otamaninganui ; Takapan ; Taumatawhine No 2 ; Native land ; JVlangamutu ; Te PaeioaNol; Ngakuoneone ; Waitoki; Karaka ;Te Maire ; Patuwhao ; Sections Nob. 1, 5. 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and Pa Reserve, Te Aroha Goldfield ; Ruakaka ; land owned by Ema Lipsey ; and terminating at a point on the north-western boundary of Emma Street, Te Aroha Goldfield Township, .situate in Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District : all within the Goanties of Thames, Ohinemmi, and Piako.
