OWHAROA.
Stevenson and party, proprietors of the Little Jimmy claim, obtained the very satisfactory return of IGozs retorted gold from 16 tons of crushing dirt treated at the Smile of Fortune battery' last week. The subsidised prospecting tunnel is now being driven through a very hard bar of country, and progress is necessarily slow ; but in another week or ten days a more kindly class of country should be encountered.
