MINSTREL PERFORMANCE AT TE AROHA PUBLIC HALL.
On Friday evening 21st inst., the Tui Minstrels made their debut in the Public Hall, To Aroha ; before a crowded and appreciative audience. The entertainment was in three parts, in each of which the amateur performers were loudly applauded for the excellent style in which they filled their several roles. The first part consisted of songs, both comic and sentimental. Part two was confined to musical selections, step dauces, etc. The third and concluding part consisted of the f»^*ce u Fooling the Physician," and fairly brought down the house. Miss McLatchey played the musical accompaniments in her usual excellent style. It will be seen by advertisement in this issue that these minstrels have arranged to give a per~ formance in the Public Hall at Paeroa on next Monday evening ; on which occasion we are sure they will play to a largo audience and give satisfaction.
We are informed that the party (who will proceed to Paoroa by a special coacli laid on by Bradley and Co.) wjll be accompanied by a number oC their Te Arohu admirers. The proceedings will conclude with a dance.
