Appeal having been made to tho Pope, in the case of the Primrose League and Bishop Bagshawe, we are informed that His Holi ness has decided against the Bishop, and in favour of the League. It now remains to De seen whether the Pope will take any notice of the fact that his bishops and priests in Ireland are in open and declared association with the Nationalist League, a society which aims at the disruption of the British Empire, and which pursues its objects by the menace and the practice of arson and murder.
