LATEST FROM WELLINGTON. Wellington, Last Night.

The Hinemoa was to have been despatched to Kawhia for Tawhiao, but Mr Ballaneo has received a messago from the King that his son is dying, which will preclude his visiting Wellington at piebent. Tawhiao's messages are couclied in most friendly language, and he exprebsed the desire that the disturbances between the European and Native population should be at an end. It is understood Mr Bryce will bo formally requested to undertake the leadership.
