DESTRUCTIVE FIRE IN AUCKLAND Auckland, Friday.

A fire broke nut about four o'clock this morning 1 , at Boisbom's Bo.irding-house, situated .it the head of Queen street Wharf, which resulted in the destruction of the premises. Seven men were injured, one fatally, and three are in a critical condition. There was only one staircase, two feet wide, leading to the third stoiey, where were three long rows of sm.ill bedrooms. Most of the injuries were caused by persons leaping from the windows. The names of those injured are :—": — " Old Charley." whose proper name could not be ascoitained, since (load. Alfred Finch, H. MoTiaujjhl.in, Edwin Ncal, Thomas Orr, J. Iloughton, and J. Frosdcke.
