Ordinary train service will be suspended on Good Friday. On Good Friday a special exclusion train, Auckland to Te Aroha, will be run, timed to reach Te Aroha at 1.15 pm, starting on the return journey at 6.30 pm. Fares, 10s and 7s 6d. Receipts from the gold field centres in Ohinemuri County amount to a large sum, last year Karangahake aiono contributing close upon £1000 for n.iuin- areas. The total number of miner's nghts issued to those resident within Obinornuri County for year ending March 3tst, amount to 199. The Thames Lawn Tennis Club have issued a challenge to both the Hamilton ;md Cambridge Clubs to meet and play them at Te Aroha on Friday next (Good Fiid.iy). Both challenges have, we understand, been accepted, and as Wailoito posse^se 1 * several crack players,' some leally brilliant play may be looked forward to. As will be seen by advertisement in this issue a fast excursion train will be run fioin Te Aroha to Auckland on Easter Monday (day of' Elh>'rslie 'races), leaving at 6 am, due in Auckland 12 30 prrt ; and starting on the return journey from Auckland same evening at 6.20. Fares 15^ and 10s. We have no doubt this, tho first excursion from Te Aroha to Auckland will be largely availed of.
