Among- the money found on the bodj of the man taken out of McQuarfcera'a boat, and hitherto supposed to be one of the engineer?, Avas a cheque for £2 ss, drawn in favour of the U.S.S. Company on the Bank of New South Wales, signed Erskine Galbraith. Tho man already referred to as the en gineor ia supposed by some to be the purser, as a large sum of monoy and a chequo was found on him. His body wears tho Company's uniform, and he has a Malteso cross tattoed on the front of the right forearm, and the Union Jack on the other arm, the staff being held by tho figure of a eailor, having a cutlaes in his right hand,
