A PROPER "SWEEP." (BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION .) Wellington, Feb 16.
A system of carrying on sweeps on horse racing has been devised by a resident hore, but the winners in a sweep on the recent Wellington Races have had some difficulty in getting even a portion of thoir winnings ; aud when demands were made to the promoter, ho threatened to pocket the whole sweep.
