T The want of rain is again apparent in this district, where theie is not enough water to rtii ve five head of st,unpu\s in the Mm tha Company's batteiy which has been idle for some days past. This is r«i ther a serious matter for thy whole district, because wh-n in full woik this plant nffords employment for twenty men tnu lnajority of whom are now idle. The present change in the weather, hower, may b6 the means of providing sufficient motive power to enable a fresh stirt to be in ide.
