Robert McKep was chafgod by Sergeant limevson with drunkenness. Accused pleaded guilty. Sergeant Emerson strtted it was only the previous day accused had been discharged on a charge of drunkenness oii payrrierit of the fine and costs 31s ; and then he had the balance of a £6 note iri his pocket ; las,t night arrested he had only 7s 6cl left. Fined £1 or 48' hours' imprisonment in Te Aroba lockup.
