The ordinary meeting of the above council \vas held at Cambridge on Wednesday last. Present: Ors W..L. C. Williams (chairman), J. C. Firth, H. Rr.Bmnskill, D.\Murphy,> J.:B. .Smit(i, W. P. Several small accounts were passed for payment. « Hospital Board, Thames.—Cr Ohepmell thought that the council's representative on the above board should be allowed his travelling expenses. He would move that he be allowed 10s a day and his travelling expenses there and back. Agreed to. This was all the business, and the council rose. — Waikato I'imes.
