Napier, November 10. The Petane races took place yesterday The following are the results : — Maiden Plate.— Gipsy, 1 ; Silence, 2. Hurdles. — Denbigh, 1; Faugh-a-ballagh 2 ; Assegai, 3. Petane Cup. — Douglas's Waitiri, by Musket, 1 ; Herculaneum, 2. Prince of Wales Stakes. —New York, 1 ; Christina, 2. Breakwater Handicap.— Christina, 1 ; Salisbury, 2.
