CRICKET AND TENNIS.

The annual meeting of the atove dab was held at Mr Rohson's on Tuesday evening last. The following weie present : Messrs ' liobsou. burgess, G. Wilbon, Uott, Rndoiph, James, aud Fenton Mr Burgess, as secretary, gave in the annual report and balance sheet, which were duly passed. Resolved — Tiiatt For the ensuing season cricket and tennis be carried on under separate clubs. Resolved — That the lawn tennis materials be handed over to a club to bo formed, or payment of the existing iia bility, viz £2 Is 3d. '. Resolv- d that a club Tj&, formed, t»; be styled the Te Aroha Tennis Clu\ j Resolved — That those present be con j stituted a preliminary committee for ' carrying ont the Foreyoing resolution; and that Messrs Rolison and Bury •?»<* ho appointed n <?nb committee to interview the Dom- in Bo^r '^and see what arrangements coull l»e made whereby tho club could have the n"e of the Domain tennis courts, ami .o report at a future meeting.
