Golden Grown. — A. new cross leader has been found in the footwall of the Waiotahi reef at No. 2 level. A small parcel of picked stone was obtained here to day and another from the leader in the shaft. Woodstock. — The' gold, or more correctly speaking the alloy resulting from the Woodstock Company's crushing was found to contain 75 per cent of silver, and its value is consequently reduced to £1 per ounce. So large a proportion of silver in the lode augura well for the success of the La Monto smelting process, shortly to be adopted.
