The rebels st>U continue very troublesome in tb 1 Saskatchewan country, and news is to hand of a severe engagement which recently took place between General MirldletonV forces and the hostile Indiaus, in, the vicinity of Battleford. Further details to hand with regard to^ the engagement between the rebel Indians and General Middleton's force on Sunday,last show that^tjkg, Jnssns who were completely routed lost fully 100 men. The troops were successful in rescuing the women who had be*en taken prisoners by the Batouches. A Pross, Association message pays : The Con-idian forces have defeated the Indians at Battle ford, the latter losing fifty men. (
