A SOUDAN FILLIBUSTER.

Dctnf.pin, March 20. At the Folice Court today Fred Fulton, who offered to find the Dunedin contingent for the Soudan, was committed for trial on the charge of shooting at, with intent to murder, Michael Hayes. The accused was walking in Princes-street South, when some altercation took place between him and Hayes, who was accompanied by others, the police gaving themjthe charaoter of larrikins. The accused considered he had been insulted, took out a revolver, and, after it bad once missed fire, discharged a barrel at Hayes, who, with his mates, ran off speedily. The accused was drunk and excited when arrested, and said he was sorry he had missed the fellow. He was admitted to bail.
