The V.R.C. Autumn Meeting was con tinued to-day. The following is the result of The Champion Stakes, of 25sovs. each, with l,ooofovs added. Weight for age. The second horse to receive 2(X)sovs , and tbe thi d lOOsovs., of the stake. Three miles. Hon. W. Pearson's br h Commotion, 6yrs, by Panic— Evening Star, dat slbs 1 Mr G. Davis's b c David, 3yrs, by The Gondolier -Alice Drew, 7ft 121bs ... 2 Mr W. Branch's b c Silver King, 3yrs, by First King— Senorita, 7st I2lbs ... 3 Only six horses started. During the first round Fryingpan led by fully six lengths, but in the second turn at the back of the course Commotion took up the running, and won easily by ten lengths. Time, omins 26iaecs.
