BURGLARS AT COROMANDEL.
Coromandel, February 25. A good deal of excitement has been caused here of late by repeated attempts to break into people's houses. There is almosta reign of terror, several women, whose husbands are working away from home, being afraid to stay in their houses. The police have been quite unable to surprise them, the robbers evidently watching their movements very closely, snd acting accordingly. It has been suggested that a detective should come down unknown to everybody, to endeavour to trace out the guilty parties.
