An Infamous Business.
An infamous trade that has recently aiisen between Franco and South America has bcon exposed by the energetic action of the Austrian Vice-Consul at Mar.scille&. He ascertained that a vessel jiifct leaving Marseilles for Bucnoa Ayrcs had among tho passengers a number of women and young girls going in charge of a procuress as recruits to housed of ill-fame at Buenos Ayres. Tho Vice Consul stretched his authority a little and compelled eight of the girls, who were natives of Austria, to be put on shore, lie is now harboming these girls in an insti tution at Marseilles, and will gcncl them to their parents or parishes in Austria at the earliest opportunity.
