JRae, public examination. — Mr Lush for plaintiff, who deposed that ha was a bush, .contractor at Waiorongoiiiui. He was 'solvent 12 months ago, and his bankruptcy was title to the general depression and falling" off of business. Wells and Soukter were his principal creditors, he owing tnern £07. Tue toial amount of his liabilities was about £100 ; while he assets were worth about £3vj. — No Creditors appearing* and no objection being received from the Deputy Official Assignee, the public examination was declared closed. lv re Edwin Hadiield, of Waiorongomai. — in this case Mr Miller had intended to ask the Court to set aside a transfer, but owing to his being Unable to procure an important document he wititdrew the proceedings, the examination of the bankrupt still remaining open. in re Louis Kalman, late of Waiorongomai. — Mr Miller asked that a date for public examination be fixed, and said the debtor had had notice that his case had been transferred t£' Auckland. — His Honour said he had.nbt transferred . the proceedings, and has no meeting of credi- \ tors had resolved to do so, the informa- j tion supplied to the debtor must have been wroug. — The examination was fixed for Febuary 3rd This concluded the business.— -Thames Star.
