An early reply will oblige," In response to the above telegram forwarded to the Minister for Public Works, the Mayor received the following important communication Thursday afternoon: — " Your telegram re Thames Valley Railway extension just received. Ins! ructions will be given shortly to proceed with a formation contract beyond Kopn to the extent of the vote. — • (signed) Edward Richardson."
