The Royal Irish and Royal West Kent Regiments and Gordon Highlanders proceed along the Nile to Khartoum next week. Hongkong, Oct. 29. French troops in Tonquin suffering severely from effects of the climate, and sickness is daily increasing. London, Oct. 30. The Dank of England has raked the rate of discount to 4 per cent.
