The term of office of Sir F. Dillon Bell, Agent-General for New Zealand, will shortly expire. He was requested by the Government of that colony to retain the position for another term, but has resolved to retire, and he has communicated his decision to the New Zealand Government.
Wellington, October 13. The Report Contradicted. The Government have not received any information from Sir F. Dillon Bell relative to his retirement from the position of Agent-General for this colony.
