AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD. Sydney, September 15
A meeting was held this evening for the purpose of arranging a second match between Beach and Hanlan, but without result, as Beach had already made arrangements to row a match with Clifford for the championship of the world. The meeting was postponed for a week, in order to get Clifford's sanction to cancel the mr teh between himself and Beach, and enable the latter to make further arrangements with Hanlan.
