At the third day's racing of the Australian Jockey Club's Spring Meeting, the principal events resulted as follows :—: — Craven Plate, of 200sovs. One mile and a quarter. Mr D. White's b c Tremando 2 Manrico 3 Four horses started. The winner led from start to finish, and won by a length. Time, 3mins. 14Jsecs. Paul won the Grand Stand Plate and Merlin the Sydney Handicap.

At the fourth day's racing of the A.J.C. Spring Meeting on Saturday, Off Colour won the Randvvick Plate, three miles, w.f.a., Malua being second, and Brown-and-Rose third. Time, smin. 40fsec. The Steeplechase was appropriated by Uhlan, Draper second. No other horses passed the winning post.
