TE AROHA BAND OF HOPE.
A meeting of the above Was held in the Wesleyan Church on Tuesday evening last, Mr Ilott in the chair, Mr Ash by presiding at the harmonium. Tiiere was "\ good attendance, and an excellent programme. Several of the pieces were exceptionally good. Mr Vanse rendered with lriucli taste the song, " Don't marry a man if he drinks," and had to respond to. an enthu^iistic encore. But all did their part well, and a yery pleasant evening was spent, and at die close some new names were «mrolledi At the 1 commencement of the meeting the chairman explained how it was so much time had elapsed, since the last meeting, but hoped the good cause had not suffered thereby, and that the meetings would now be held regularly again.
