Tin: football match betwoon the Now Zealand team and a representative team of the Western District, played at Batlmrst on Wednesday, was considered to have been ono of the toughest contests the visitors have yet had. The New Zealanders played their sevonth match yesterday, and scored another victory against the University and Willeroo Clubs combined During the tirst half of the game the visitors showed to great advawtago, and scored rapidly, but during the second spell the local men showed much bettei" foim — scoring about evon, and the play was very fast on both sides.
