POLICE COURT. Friday, June 13th.

Before C. S Stafford, Esq , J.P. Annie Curnow was brought up charged by Sergfc. Emerson with being drunk on the night of the 7th inst. in the public street in Te Aroha. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and was fined 5s and costs ; the Bench* at the same time reprimanding defendant, and remarking on the disgraceful gature of the charge against a female.
