BLUB RIBBON MEETING,

A Gospkl Temperance Meeting was held in the Public Hall at Te Arolia, on Tuesday evening last. The Rev. T. J. Wills in the chair. The meeting was opened by singing Hymn 37, San'cey's seleclion, which was followed by prayer by the Rev. Mr Melntos.i (Presbyterian) and the reading of a portion of Scripture by the Chairman. B -fore the conclusion of tiie meeting the Chairman urged upon all present to join in tiie good and great work of saving the Wwrld from the slavery and degradation ami ruin occasioned by drunkenness. He stated that it was his firm believe tiiat in twenty years the liquor traffic would be almost, if not altogether, a thing of the past, and it was the privilege and duty of all Christians to help in bringing this very desirable state or affairs about.
