THE WORKING OF THE TRAMWAY. An Important Proposal.
We learn that the manager of the Waiorongomai Train ,vay, Mr H. 11. Adams has forwarded a reco nmendation to the Pialco County Council the gist of which is that ten lers be invited for working the tramway. We trust that the County Council wiH see their way to the adoption of the proposal ; it would conduce to economy, and in every respect give more satisfaction to the mining companies than the present method.
