THE TRIUMPH. (From the Auckland "Star.")

December 15. There is very little fresh to report concerning the Triumph. Captain Brotherton, the chief officer and socond officer, seven engineers, about 22 sailors, and 25 Chinamen arrived here by the steamor Blanche late yesterday afternoon. The Blanche also towed up four of the ship's boats. Quite an interesting scene was witnessed at the shipping office of the Customs this morning, when all the men were paid off, thus concluding their connection with the vessel. The steamer Anne Milbank ,arrived from the Triumph early to-day with a lot of loose gear which had been removed from the wreck yesterday. Arrangements have been made by which the engineers of the Triumph will remove the refrigerating machinery on behalf of the purchasers. They expect to get it out, place it on a barge, and bring it to Auckland within three days after commencing operations. The statement that Captain McGillivray proceeds to the wreck to relieve Captain Farquhar, which is made by the " Herald " to-day, is incorrect.

Complaint by Canterbury Consignees. Chbistohurch, this day. —Groat dissatisfaction exists amongst the Christchurch consignees of cargo by the Triumph at the action of Shaw, Saville's Auckland agent in demanding bills of lading, and the apS ointment of agents in Auckland to take elivery, causing vexatious delay and annoyance.
