Auckland, Last Night. A man named Jamet. Hughes, working as a gardener for Mr Moody, Kyber Pass road, was kicked by a horse to-day, and had several ribs hmken and his leg badly cut. He was taken 10 the hospital. Mrs Wil-on, who attempted suicide by swallowing lucifer matches, appears to be recovering at the hospital. The sale of privileges for the race meeting to day realised £120 over the amount of last year's sales. Fraser, who bought the Triumph, is getting out the refrigerator fir&t. Eggs have advanced in price, and are now silling at Is (id per dozen, retail. The ship Piako ai rived from London to-day with fourteen passengers. The voyage oerujried li 4 days. The following telegram was received to-day from the Prince Imperial :—: — " Five cwt. specimens from stopes Nos. 1 and 2, sections of No. 5 level. Rich show left in No. 1 section, close to break." RICH HAUL FROM THE PRINCE IMPERIAL. Thames, Last Night. New Prince Imperial : Five cwt. of specimens were cecuted during last night in the stopes on No. 2 rise at both sides of tho, break.
