Reuters Telegrams. BAKER PASHA'S EXPEDITION. THE FISHERIES EXHIBITION.
(Received Utli, 12.20 p.m.) Cairo, December 12th. Baker Pasha is now engaged in organising an expedition against the Soudan robols. His force will be composed of Egyptian Gensdarmes, negro troops and a contingent of Bedouin Arabs. London December 12th. A meeting of peisuns interested in the late International Fi&Jieries Exhibition was held at Camion street Hotel last night. Much dissatisfaction was expressed at. the awards of the juries, and it was resolved that a deputation should ■wait upon the Government to protest against the same.
THE LAND BILL. Sydney, December 14th. The debate on the Land Bill was continned in the Legislative Assembly, until an early hour this morning when a motion for the second reading of the Bill was curried on division by 77 votes to 16.
THE N.S. WALES LOAN. (Received 14th, 4.5 p.m.) London, December 13th. The issue of a loan of three millions for the New South Wales Government, bearing interest at the rate of 4 percent was announced to-vlays. The minimum price is fixed at par.

THE THREATENED FRANCOCHINEHE WAR. Hong Kong, December 13fch. .Information has been received from Gain ton that the fortifications surrounding that city have been put in complete rediness to withstand attack if an outbreak of war should occur, and that strong bodies of troops are posted in the neighborhood of the city.
