MONDAY NEXT. U The Rangiwaea School Suorts and Picnic will be held in the school grounds on Monday next (Boxing Day), when ah exceptionally good programme of events will be got off. The function is very much more am. bitious than any held in past years, and a substantial sum has been al_ lotted for prize money, in addition to which the children are being well catered for, the quantity and quality of the toys for the latter being exceptionally good. The athletic /and axemen's events should attract a programme generally should be a large number of competitors, and the good attraction for the public.
