RESOLUTION RE BONUS. ■iff CHRISTCHURCH Dec. 17. Mr McCombs, M.P., gave a public address to-night on the 9/ bonus” there being a good ' attendance. On the motion of Mr D. J. Sullivan, M.P., the following motion was carried: as by any reasonable method of computation the 9yL. bonus is due, and. should be maintained, this meeting is of opinion that every effort he made to secure its payment.’ On the motion of Mr E. J. M.P., it was resolved that every effort should be made to secure for the workers a parity of wages with rates prevailing in 1914.
