Received 1 p.m. DELHI Dec. 15. Another railway smash occurred in Madras Province, near Bangalore. A mail train collided with a goods train and thirty s native passengers were killed and thirty-five injured. ■ , DELHI, Dec. 15. The funeral of one of the victims of the recent rioting at Madras was the occasion of inflammatory speeches by Wadis and other Labour Leaders who declared the freedom of India their one aim. LONDON, Dec. 15. A Handley Page machine struck a house, which was partly demolished and thence rebounded into a tree. Portion of the machine remained suspended in the tree and the rest fell to the ground, where it' blazed IfercdTy and jprevented efforts to rescue those Imprisoned in the wreck. It is announced that tlie Communications Conference, ponding tlie final disposal of ex-German cables, adopted a modus vivendi whereunder, cables will be operated for the financial account of the five Powers, until 15th continue its sessions,, but if there .Is no settlement by then, another modus vivendi will be adopted in March.
