CRICKET.
CIVIL SERVICE V. UTIKU. On Saturday at Utiku, Civil Service met their Waterloo, when tne y suffered . defeat by an innings and 97 runs. Civil Service batted first and the first five batsmen went out for a total of 0, The next brought the total to 1, and the next three went out without increasing the total. The ninth and tenth men made 2 and 5 respectively, and a no-ball made the total 9 runs. CIVIL SERVICE.—Ist Innings. A. Bentley, Cosgrove, Baumber, O'Sullivan and Bennett 0, W. Bentley 1, Pankhurst, Simm, and Bray 0, Coleman 2, Williams 5, sundries 1. Bowling Analysis: Hoadley 4 for 1, and Goldsbury 4 for 7. Utiku made a bad start when P. Munrcfs wicket fell for 0. The second Wicket fell for 9, but Beechey collared the bowling and made 159 not out, and the last wicket,fell for 225. UTIKU.—Ist Innings. P. Munro 0, Greves 7, W.
