SYDNEY, This day. In view of the reduction in the personnel of the Australian Navy, the consequent need for fewer officers, and the necessity for retrenchment, the question of closing Jervois Bay Naval College or the adoption of a scheme to include the training of naval aviators anfl mercantile marine officers is under consideration.
