THE ABANDONED MATCH.
SYDNEY, This day. The abandonment of the New South Wales v. South Australia match is without precedent and is causing speculation respecting the disposition of points for the Shieffield Shield. The rules say the matches must be played out, but according to the Marylebone .Club rules the game was drawn. A round-table conference between NeV South Wales l , South Australia, and Victoria will probably tie held to decide the malter.
