TAIHAPE PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MONTHLY MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the above Society was held in the Nu;r-.-.es’ Room, Town Hall, on Friday, December 3rd. Present: Mesdanaes Nathan (chair). Little, Gifford, Shute, Haydou, and the secretary. Apologies were received from Mesdames Cuuninghame, de Latour, Gardner, Emerson, Lo.uglman, Johlin, "Somerville and McCormick. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, anti correspondence discussed. Nurse Mcßride reported that there were 170 babies on the books: Taihape 96, Mangaweka 23, Hunterville--22, Ohakune 29. There were 15 new cases during the month: Taihape 12, Mangaweka 3. Visits paid to homes totalled 123, while there were 124 visitors to the offices. Tile following donations and subscriptions have been received: Mrs PuHert on-Smith 5/, Mount View Station £5.
