Hannan has accepted and covered the deposit, anct articles have been signed for £2OO aside and-the championship, the race to be rowed on December 18th. Hannan has also deposited £2S to bind a match with Dick Arnst, contingent on :ho race with Fogwell. BARRY ARRIVES HOME. LONDON, Nov. 27. Barry has arrived. He reiterated his determination to retire. He says Australia will soon challenge England, who must find a new defender. He paid an enthusiastic tribute to his treatment in Australia. Barry received a torchlight welcome at Twickenham. Ex-King Manuel will make "a presentation to him.
