In connection .with the appointment Of Mr Richard Dunn (Wanganui t€>. the position of dental supervisor for lie State School Dental Service, it .is Understood \ that dental nurses are to receive ~n extensive training for a period of two years. There is- to l)e no limited field in the treatment of infants deciduous teeth up to the age of six; and in preventative methods, general treatment cf children in primary schools will be entirely in the hands of qualified dentists. The service will be extended as rapidly as men are availabl from the Otago Dental School.
