SUICIDES. * DUNEDIN, Nov. 9. John Mair, aged 55, formerly of Mercer, fatally shot himself in Pitt Street this morning with a revolver. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 9. James Scott, a railway worker at j Lyttelton, was found dead this morning'' by his wife with his throat cut. He had been 1 in poor health for some time. He leaves seven children, ranging from six years to eighteen. ROTORUA, Nov. 9. Reginald A. Fyke, aged 61,__ an inmate of the sanatorium ,said to be a brother of the late Mr. Vincent Pyke, was found dead in the Sanatorium grounds this morning, his clothing being wet through with a slip-knot and four rounds of sash cord round his • throat. Ho was missed by a room mate shortly after 4 a.m., when an alarm was given, and deceased wasfound by his room mates at 5.30 a.m.. He has brothers at Levin and Gisborne.
FOUND DEOWNED GISBORNE, Nov. 9. Arthur Barron, aged thirty-seven, was found 'drowned in a crock ab O ’Rorke ’s Station, Tolaga Bay.
